Underexposure is keeping the subject's details hidden. Makes for a neat composition in the tunnel, just needs some lighting tweaks.

I really like this one a fair bit. the choice of location is brilliant, the lighting really urban and the shape of the tunnel draws your attention to the centre subject. this would be perfect for the new members challenge. i think i would have tried again with a slightly shorter exposure so we can see the ball a little better - without the titles guidance it's unclear as to what's happening. however, the B&W works really well, and in all, very very likeable. hope it does well - 8.

I think more light, so you could use a shorter shutter speed to reduce the motion blur woud have helped.

Kind of like this, for its sheer oddness and mood. I like the composition, the fact that it makes the image as much about the location as about the figure - provides a nice balance, a nice dichotomy in the scene. I'm sure a different frmaing would have fared better on dpc - balance the figure with the light on the wall that you've half cropped-out to right, and you'd have a much more orthodoxly composed (and equally, more immediately eye-catching) image. I'm glad you haven't - glad there are people submitting not just for the prizes.

my monitor is calibrated & this is way too dark. I like the motion blur going on but I can hardly see it.

Very interesting. Just a little more light would have helped, though, I think.

Nice show of motion. I even like the dim light on the subject. Maybe not wild about the slight tilt, but on second view it makes it look like the person is falling because of the tilt.
