I think this one would benefit from a bit wider DOF so the tail of the ... thing... would also be in focus. But then again, that is assuming you have all the time in the world to manage all the controls of your camera before the animal runs off... Still a good catch with neat textures. 8

Very nice compostition and the focus is great. Very sharp and nice detail. The light seems a bit harsh though. Would have really liked the image with some warmer softer light. Just my opinion.

Nice pointy details! :) I wish that the legs were in focus but I guess you wanted to concentrate on the head of the reptile which is also fine. I won't deduct for that. 7
