 For the lighting setup I used one Nikon SB800 with an umbrella as a main light, one Nikon SB600 super flash unit for a fill light, and one SB600as a background light. I used a white backdrop mounted on a background stand system but tried not to lighten the backdrop too much to keep it a bit dark so that it did not distract from the focus of the story. I kept the f-stop low, so that Mira's face would be the main focal point. I stood on a ladder to capture both Mira's face and her hands full of candy. I did a small exposure adjustment in the RAW file and a small crop to take out extra space on the right side of the photo.

Nice Candid shot. I like the focus on her face and the slight softness of her hands. I find the table top and the table structure (y section directly under her hands)slightly distracting.

Great shot, well framed, good lighting.

Love the joy here, and surprise. More specific lighting to reduce the background would have improved this.

Nice idea, better focus would improve the shot greatly IMO
