 Some of you may dock me as this doesn’t look very business like. Well, this is about as "dressed up" as we get in our office and sometimes you gotta make due with what you have. Some days in the summer I walk around barefoot.
I got this idea because a while back, my boss was planning on firing an employee who was a complete idiot. He called me in his office and threw his feet up on his desk and low and behold there were the sticky notes. I burst out laughing. The guy ended up getting fired, but not in this way.
Lighting was from a 420ex and a 430ex bounced off the corners in the office fired with an ST-E2 transmitter. I wanted that overexposed look that a lot of stock photos have, but it didn’t seem right in this case as the blinds behind are a grey colour.. PP was the basics and mostly done in Lightroom with the resize, border, & USM done in CS3.

I started this out at a 6, then I kept showing people around the office, then I bumped it to a 7, then I showed more people, then I bumped it up to an 8. Too bad I can't keep voting.

This is hilarious, and if I have to get canned, this is the way I would want to go!

Really a great one, my pick for a ribbon! One of those stock photos in this challenge which really use the environment as an important element of the subject. Great idea meets an impressive viewpoint here. I like the fired man composed on the left, it balances the composition very well. Take (9) from me!

This is pretty hysterical. DOF is perfect, just enough to see that the "boss" is an asshole. Technically sound, perfect crop, well balanced highs. nicely done! 9
