 A yogi carrying out morning Puja ('respect'). A ritual carried out every single sunrise to offer homage to the rising sun and the start of a new day, or a new cycle of life beginning.

I would like to point out that the background isn't tilted, it's just the river bank. There was a comment saying it wasn't "too distracting", which it shouldn't be because it's entirely natural and if i tilted the pic so that bit was straight, the main figure would be slanted unnaturally and would make this picture false to me.

I find it hard to believe that this picture didn't even break a 6... that doesn't really endear the DPC populace to me. I know I have a great picture here that is sadly not recognised by the shallow and hollow DPC majority.

Ridiculously underrated. There's something utterly timeless about this scene. It *transports* me, and that's what I like pictures to do.

I gave this an 8. The scene and the colortone make me think of an antique postcard for some reason. Beautiful capture.
