Hello Robert!

I love the crop, textures and grain on this shot!

I'm shocked to see this so far into the pages. This deserved much more. Lovely image.

I like the tight crop, graininess and expression. Not sure why it didn't score higher.?

The lens-baby adds a lot of motion and unrest to the photo that is, by name, about melancholy. I like that symbolism - that you are still and all around you is swirling. That by being centered, or the center, you do not move by definition. It's comforting, but boring. Hopefully, the forthcoming Spring will provide you with longer days, warmer weather, less snow, and some relief from your melancholic disposition.

Not to sure of the composition here. The right side of the frame is very distracting.

Lensbaby? If so, I think it's overprocessed. The fuzzy, funny background actually pulls attention from your subject. Otherwise, great personality, colors, composition.

This is one of the few parital face portraits that seems to me like it was intentional and framed that way in camera, instead of being an afterthought crop. Love the DOF and lensbaby focus. The colors and the graininess in the processing perfectly contribute to the mood of the image. 8 from me.

Not voting (yet).

Robt, looks like we had similar composition ideas though I wimped out and used a 'proper' lens.
