 My daughter Amelia looking out our front window. She is just now tall enough to stand there and be able to see out.

Shot in RAW
Curves
Convert to Black/White
Photo Filter to add a sepia tint
Selective Color to bump up the blacks
Clone/Heal in a couple spots to remove some dirt on window edge and bump in curtain
Dodge window to remove glare

*post-challenge: Thanks for all the kind words and votes! For awhile I thought I might have had a chance at a ribbon, but I'll take a top ten. This is definitely a photo I will always treasure.

I'm sure you've heard the saying 'Curiosity killed the cat'. What most people don't know is the other half - 'Satisfaction brought him back'. I doubt you need it but I hope you'd be satisfied with a 10.

Awwww.....this really shows a curious and energetic personality. Love the shot. I think that perhaps, a bit too much window is shown here and might have been best, cropped a little lower??? Just commenting, not scoring

This is very nice. I love natural window light, and with the soft baby's face and expression, the mood of this photo is very comforting. Nice choice on the black and white. My only "could have been better" comment would be regarding the space above the subject. Maybe a little tighter crop.
