WAAHHOOOO!!! OMG! This is such an unexpected thrill!
I'm currently away from home,without internet access, and I received a phone call from Judi with news of a ribbon, so I have managed to access the internet from a kind business owner, in the small town that I'm visiting.

i love the sense of freedom that your photograph gives me .. his lack of expression is just perfect .. he seems to be in a space of his own .. meditating .. very cool in all senses of the word ... :)

I was just talking to Brat on the phone....and she has asked me to tell you all that she is away without internet connection until Friday. She is stoked....she can't believe she won...and will be back on Friday to follow up. I do believe she uploaded her original before she left...so no panicking on that one...lol!

Nice colors, good pic, I think I would like it even better if the ground was cropped out and a closer crop on his head.

Excellent shot! The use of wide angle and the angle in which you took the photograph is very suitable since the clouds makes a nice backdrop. The deep DOF looks great and the reflection in the glasses works.
The pose itself makes me think that you're smelling the fresh air from the sea. Very nice! Upgraded from 6 to 8 on pass #2.
