 Levels, sharpen, contrast, saturation, resize, usm.

This is my second take on this shot. First time I had a different pen and wrote the words. Found a better pen - used to have a fountain pen but for the life of me I can't find it. Used the computer for the writing and then added the pen at the end.

Off camera flash shot through homemade softbox camera right.

Hoping this is a clean enough image to score above my average - mid to high 5's or maybe scrape into a 6.

Ok, so because I actually do calligraphy, I'm picky. Great idea, but you really should have used a nib pen....

Seems a bit cliché to me but is better than the other shots I have seen with the same subject. 5

Great photo. Was that actually written? (Looks printed to me)- I think you have a lot of things that really work here... especially fanning out the paper (which someone writing a story would probably square up instead)- great exposure, great contrast, well lit hand. Very nice shot.
