The common primrose (Primula vulgaris) is noted for being one of the first plants to flower in the Spring. These, of course, are nursery-forced to bloom even earlier, and are in a streetside planter-box downtown.

This composition was chosen for the lighting and the effect of a column of marching flowera receding into the distance, over a hill and around a bend ...

You've lost detail in the whites. Adjust your exposure compensation when shooting very light or dark objects. Using levels or shadow/highlights may get some detail back.

a little bit of a snapshot feel to this, but you handled the flowers well, especially the whites

Nice composition, but oh, those blown-out whites! IMHO it would have been better to let the leaves and yellow flowers go a bit dark to hold some detail in the whites.

I like the title--but the highlights seem too far blown. I'd try adjusting the levels...

Overexposed on the flowers.

The white of the flowers "blasts" out the other colors and tones...needs more balance
