From the Henley poem 'Invictus.' Though I am not really "the master of my fate" nor "the captain of my soul." Only I have a false persona that pretends it can handle anything, like standing in a wet parking lot, savouring the universe in the reflection of a wheel.

Once again I am delighted by the posthumous recognition - may it continue to be rare, and the undieyatch award as well.

I thought the image could have been sharper.

By viture of the fact that the bird appears to be in the middle of the road? Or that it, therefore you are a fighter? Or am I reading too much into it? What would this image be without the title you gave it and the theme that it is given to represent? Take away those and its a very ordinary image but, it should be taken in context and therefore its a thought provoking image. An idea cleverly portrayed. Thank you.

composition works well, but if find the crow a little noisy... also he is a little soft. Since there are no predominant colors in the photo, i would try turning this into a b&w. might get a few interesting details pop out.

Good idea, but I wish you'd gotten a little more detail in the crow's feathers. (That's not easy, I know.)
