Faster speed could help freeze subject. Maybe get in closer. Face shouldn't be covered unless that is your intention. Try shooting closer to sunrise or sunset for better light.

Focus is off, horizon is tilted, and should have cropped out the distracting person/leg on the right. However, I can appreciate the emotion captured here and the fact that he and the ball are both off the ground. With a little editing, I think you could have improved this shot dramatically. As it stands, I've gotta give you a 4.

Fun! Made me smile!! But don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo

Nice attempt at an action shot. It's a shame the glove was infront of his/her face; focus is off; and cropping the arm of the other child out would have made this a better photo.

A lot to improve on with this photo. 1) The boys face is covered up with is probably less than ideal 2) If the boy was off centered, it might make the composition a little more dynamic. 3) Having the other players leg peak into the frame is a little distracting.

Fun shot! It's a bit flat, though. Maybe play with the saturation a little to make him pop a bit, or add some shadows.

Great action shot. I think a tighter crop, and slightly sharper focus (though that can be extremely difficult -- these little guys move a lot faster than you think) would have made this really stand out.
