USS Massachusetts, berthed at Fall River, MA, USA. This ship fired the US's first and last naval rounds of WWII. She served in both the Atlantic and Pacific. Mothballed after WWII and moved to Fall River in 1964 as a tourist site. Only 8 of these battleships remain. Battleship Cove consists of the Battleship Massachusetts, the submarine Lionfish, destroyer Kennedy, and a Russian Frigate.

Nice shot, though it would have been better if taken when the bridge was out of the way. (I am assuming that the ship was stationary however, which would make the bridge thing difficult)

The treatment on this really creates a retro feel. Strong lines and I think the bridge actually works to counteract all the verticals and diagonals.

Too bad this photo was taken 70 years too late. Navy would have bought it for recruiting and publicity posters during WWII. Pro quality. Superb! Where's the bridge?

Tones are lovely, POV is striking, overall sense of power & menace is excellent, but the image loses so much by having the BG bridge. I know you didn't have any optiosn to speak of, but it's just too bad :-(
