I'll throw my vote in for this one. I'm very disappointed it didn't make at least top-5. I gave it an 8, and looking at it now, I might have gone 9! A truly aesthetic shot.

one of my top three. Oh well at least you have a lovely shot if not a ribbon.

Nice Jubei. Cool you found time in your busy schedule to get up there. That's definitely print-worthy.

how long was the shutter on this? And I assume you used an ND filter, given that in broad daylight, the d100 can't take more than about 1/3 of a second at ISO 200 and max aperture. details appreciated.

Surprised this one did not get a ribbon. Well it got a ribbon in my book.

No chance to vote on this challenge, but this would possibly have been my vote for number 1 if I'd had the chance. Beautiful.

Really nice smooth long exposure here, have you tried using a circular polarise before? This would have taken out the reflections on the rocks at the side. Nice shot!

Almost abstract and very, very lovely. I like the saturated colors and your long exposure of the water. 10

Great exposure! Not only is the water blur excellent, but the detail in the surrounding regions is very cool as well. Nice technical composition!

This is delicious and the colour of that water may just reflect its ribbon. ; )

Excellent use of the centering arrangement (one of very few) Stunning. [10]

wow! took me a few seconds to figure this one out. Bonus points for the delay factor! Love the colors contrasts between the soft blue and the hard orange.

OHMYGOSH! Superb colors, textures. Shutter speed PERFECT for the water. I HOPE no one uses a micrometer to claim it's not "dead center" - what a crazy thread about that in progress.

Did you try a polarizer on this by chance? If the light angle was right - you may be able to tone down some of the reflections on the rock. (It's fine as is - and don't REMOVE the reflection, just remove part of the glare.)

Overall - it's got everything going for it - standby for a ribbon headed your way.

WHOA! Stop the flipping through images. THIS is SO attention-arresting! The colors are brilliant, the composition is eye candy, the helical effect in the water stuns me... I am in awe! 10 !

Amazing. I'm not sure what it is, but I'd hang it my wall for sure. Great texture and perfect exposure.
