Quite an uninspiring shot to be honest, it doesnt provoke any emotinal reactions (and I am quite a sucker for good aviation shots) and has no WOW factor whatsoever. Its tightly cropped so gives us no sense of movement, size or location (except for being in the sky). There is also some sensor dust present that could of been removed, but to be honest it doesnt detract from the image overall..

sadly I am going to revise my vote down on this to a 4.

This could use some more details that are lost in darkness on my monitor. Perhaps some Shadow/Highlights to draw them out? Nice stop action.

I love the copter, but it seems very dark. I popped this into my image editor to see and I found the histogram to be flat on the right most 1/3 of the image. A quick levels adjustment brought out a lot more detail from this.
