My neighbors all thought I was crazy, because I was out kneeling in a mud puddle in the rain. Some drove by 3 times!

This is great! I love a mini-story in a single photo. To be honest, I am not sure if the photo works for the challenge without the title, but the challenge is over and I do love this story.

The best part of this photo is that it tells a complete story even without the title. Fantastic job. The focus on the bear with the car almost out of the frame makes it all click. 10

Liked the pathos of Bear with face down in the water, plus the car receding in the background. Did you try having the bear sit up and look longingly at the departing car, or at the viewer?

And you are going to have tears
Great idea for this one. Like what you have tried to achieve.
However, as the car is a major element in this photo, I think it is too far in the corner. it needed to be, both horizontally and vertically, closer to the centre (actually, closer to the thirds line really) This then would have made it the second focal point for the photo, rather than being right in the corner........
