Drilled a small hole in the base to eliminate the vacuum. Worst part was when the tiny glass and metal shavings from the drill bit kept getting blown all over the inside of the bulbs when the air rushed in. Had to drill several to get one with minimal debris inside.

The smoke inside the bulb is very pretty, but I think the dust on the bulb is a little distracting.
