Only don't think it needed the fancier frame. If any, just a thin black border would've been perfect.

Yes it is and a cute one at that. Since it's about the nose, the shallow dof works good to take attention away from those very awesome eyes.

your focus is spot on and the sharpness and contrast, exposure, etc are all great. i love those catchlights. i'm not sure the frame adds much, but it doesn't really detract either. very nice job

A nice eye for changing details from color to DOF. Natural texture from the center image towards the back with the gentle fade is very pleasing to the eye. A solid entry into the challenge.
