 Playing with the idea of light--a lantern surrounded by darkness. No idea how this is going to turn out, it's a little hard to even tell what is going on.

An interesting use of lighting to create a mode. The image might have been a little better composed if more concentration on the light through the lamp had been the subject completely and the image more centered rather than offset. At a minimum it meets the challenge criteria.
