| The branch in the photo is a distraction. I like your shutter speed, getting the head sharp but the wings slightly blurred, however being slightly in front of the bird would have helped, as then the large blur of the wings would no longer be the focal point |

| Not quite to the same level of expertise as some of the other avian images in this challenge, the image is flawed due to a difficult lighting situation leading to rather flat and dull coloring and soft focus. The blank sky also enhances this problem. A good effort that might have been improved with a little more patience waiting for a different angle and lighting. |
