 An idea actually implimented several years ago by (I think) the Coast Guard in Florida. People sent them CD-Rs which had failed to burn properly (a high percentage in the early days) or the ubiquitous AOL installer discs. The CG would print survival instructions on the CDs and put them into the pockets of all the life-jackets in the area.

I printed up some mock instructions onto some laser transparency material and glued it to an old CD, then waited for a plane to fly over.

-Burned-in a little on the hand and plane
-RGB Curve
-Resize
-USM at 88%/0.8 dia/TH = 5
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 9/10 = 164KB

may be you can try bit tighter crop!! the hair on the hand are distracting.. atleast for me

Survival of the world and Green. It's a stretch. Not glaringly obvious. ) The hand obscures the message on the near side of the CD. Focus could have been more on the CD and less on the hand.
