This is a tribute to the kind of day I had today. She's sayin' what I wish I was sayin' :) Tomorrow will be better. No Doubt!

I need y'all to help me with cool grungy borders. ..where do you get them ???

P.S. My normally sweet friendly goose hissed at me because as I was walking along the river, I didn't see that she was sitting on her nest of eggs right by the path. Oyyyyy But she did calm down and let me take some much more photogenic close-ups of her with my macro lens. That for another day :)

Scary!! I was chased by a goose once :) Nice work! Re: the grungy borders...I just tried making one by burning the edges of a paper (with a lighter, not the burn tool ;)) and rubbing some charcoal over it. It worked ok for a quick job. I'll post it in my overlays folder. I'm a bit of a purist and like all aspects of the work to be mine.

This is SOOO cute! It took me a bit to figure out what I was looking at, which is great because I love having to gaze and ponder and figure out :-) She does look pretty riled up alright! Perfect dof, texure adds to the mood of crazy goose.

As for cool grungy borders, there are some in the texture library on this site, Playingwithbrushes has an amazing texture gallery that includes many grungy borders, and you can get tons of free PS grunge brushes and create your own.

oh, this is to much!!! I was recently at the Middleton Plantation in Charleston, SC and had a Canadian Goose come after me...man oh man did that stop my heart!!! Used my camera bag to fend off the bugger...he/she/it was blooming mad to say the least

oh, the picture...hmmm, excellent capture and use of the layers...would really like to know what overlay you used...

I think (do not know) that if you want grungy borders...just make an overlay larger than your photo...add colored filters (if you want) and save that...please anyone correct me as I am usually wrong...

ROFL! I kept trying to guess what this was from the thumb, and I kept thinking it's the mouth of something, but it can't be, I'm going to open it and it will be something very normal. OMG! It really is a mouth! This is too excellent!

HA HA HA - that's awesome (and ironic!) I was walking around the campus today with a coworker, and we were being hissed at by geese too. Understandable, as there are LOTS of little goslings everywhere.

This made me LOL Sandy - thanks for the huge guffaw :)

The dark area surrounding the goose really brings out the color of the goose. It really jumps out at ya.
