The place where I work held an event to honour volunteers so once the tables were set up, I decided to try a shot for this challenge. I hadn't taken one I was completely happy with by the time people started arriving so I went with this one anyway.

A very festive image...looks like a fun evening for all. I like the little boken lights of blue.

A very good image that requires more than one viewing to properly appreciate. Initially, the color and tone was a little off putting - the overly reflective foil in the glass jar didn't seem to come off quite right and the color combination, along with the indefinite focus in certain areas of the image, created an uncomfortable feeling. Thinking about it, the image does make a certain sense from an artistic standpoint and there is nothing technically wrong. A very different type of image that may not be to the general taste, it does work in several ways. Nicely done.
