| Hmmm, had this tipped for at least a top 10 when I looked through the images, surprised by the low score and position to be honest. I know the stool is not the main focus but it's an interesting take on the topic and very well executed too. |

| Lovely shot Judi, I like the way the greens play off the violets, the softness of the image while keeping lots of detail; but you must have known that the stool is too small a part of the image to score much more than 5.7, in free study it would have done much better. A far better image than a challenge entry. |

| i like it but its confusing- its blending and softened making it look like she is a fairy but then her outfit throws you off? |

While the stool is a major element in the scene, I wouldn't say it is the subject. That of course isn't a requirement of the challenge but something I would just point out as an observation.
Nice soft feel to this image that really creates a mood. The pose is terrific and helps add an air of mystery to the picture. The makeup and hair really add to this as well.
All of the chosen elements (the stool, the lantern, the location) really create a great story. |
