Well I had been planning on doing one of the demotivational posters until Saturday while I was at my Mother-in-laws and saw her vice and this picture popped in my mind just as we were packing the car to head home. If I had though of it earlier I would have probably would have hard-boiled the eggs and actually cracked the egg but instead it actually drew the cracks on with a pencil but I dont think its too noticeable. All that to say I feel really good about this entry and I hope it does well!

I love this quote. I tried to google who said it but it must have been something you made up...

one of my favorites this challenge ... B&W is a great choice, like the quote ... the [painted] cracks gives it motion but also sends a mixed message

Brilliant Title, Saying and photo combination. They all compliment each other, and all work together to make a very good submission
The lighting is probably the largest concern here. The top of the egg is starting to be blown out, and yet i feel the need for a little more light on the two clamps, just to make them stand out a little more from the background. The only other thing is the areas int he very lower part of the photo, which add nothing, so removing them would have also been a plus. Still, a reall good submission.

Well, if that's true, it shouldn't be cracking. I like the photo, but don't like the cracks you draw on the egg.

hmm... i'm sorry its just too obvious that the cracks were drawn by hand (thats the first thing i noticed), i like your idea though.

Ink instead of pencil lines would have been more believable. That said everything else about this image is strong, best in show so far.

On the right side you can tell you drew/ painted the cracks on it. Other than that, this is a good picture.

Lines drawn with pen are clearly visible. A distraction. 5.
