 Taken at the Frankfurt Zoo. Odd juxtaposition as the pink flamingoes are on the opposite side of the path I was shooting from

Sorry it's taken me so long to post a reply I only use the site occasionally.

The PP on this was largely contrast and a bit of saturation. The colors are a result of a 20-30% increase in saturation and a bit of vibrancy. I didn't layer, mask or even dodge/burn this photo.

The main reason I did so little is because I had no idea how to do those things on my software prior to posting this shot ;-)

Nice. The black background really helps the pelicans stand out. They are great subjects. On second thought, though, the black background is just so bland. I wish there was something more to put them in some context (in other words, are they in a zoo? next to a lake in a city? out in the wild? etc.).
