This is Robert Armstrong. I met him in my favorite street shooting spot, on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis. He had an interesting look so I approached and asked if he was up for a portrait. He said no but we got to chatting. After a few minutes he warmed up to it and let me take several shots. I promised I'd return with a print. This turned out to be one of my favorite street portraits I've done. I don't have high hopes for a score but I still like to get the work in front of people for feedback.

Postprocessing was minimal. Some desaturation in Lightroom, then resize for web.

it seems to me that this is a little dull in color...did you do curves/levels?

Tons of personality coming across here, and I like the treatment. Not a b/w, but not strong colors either. Just right for street photography. Faved it.

nice as a tight crop, but the ear chopped off bothers me a little...OK overall
