Düsseldorf has some awesome architecture, much of which (including this building) has been quite beautifully photographed by Eyewave. This is a government building as shot through the glass in the observation section of the Düsseldorf Rhine (or Media) Tower. Definitely worth the trip up the tower if you're in the area.

I like the geometry of it. Would be a nice way to show kids that math(s) has more to it than tedious homework. :-)

Topaz'd (probably portrait drama setting) then Nik Silver Efex'd.

While not my first choice for this month's Free Study, I do think this may fare better than the ones I might have otherwise submitted. Here's hoping it approaches my average!

[Jun. 3rd, 2009 02:35:33 AM]

I shot this on the 3rd of May - had it pegged as my Free Study all month. Then realized there was the odd possibility it might be too busy for DPC. :-) Still my favorite shot of the month, though.

This image really lends itself to B&W. It reminds me of several gears all working in unison. Very nice.

Jeez, Deb - you are on a roll! I sure hope you are no longer associating with Team Suck - seems wholly inappropriate. ;-)

You are really on a roll -- two great scores and placements this week. I am fascinated by all the photos you took from the tower.

oh... is this a look out of the Rheintower over the paliament of Düsseldorf? - I took almost the same picture one year before.
Like this composition, the b + w is just right. Well done!
