My fishtank again! ah!

Just a little fun. Spent about 10 minutes total for this entry. I actually like the way it turned out, but it will score like poop. Good times!

Lori says a 4.9.
I say a 4.4.

Looks like we both overestimated the voters on this one! Running at about a 3.7 at the moment.

I figured it would score poorly as it's pretty abstract and I don't have a sharp subject against a motion blurred background, but I'm surprised that people don't "see" the motion panning. Is it that hard to tell that all of those lines are panned spots?

Thanks Karen and Don! You guys make it all worthwhile.

PostLuminous Award Nominee!
this is just glorious, dynamic, and just the right amount of abstraction

No way. No way this deserves the score it got.

You should put a book together of all your fish, they all have this pleasing etherealness, and mystery.

I don't get it... nothing is in focus here, there's no motion panning that I can see. It's not even an interesting abstract. Sorry, not a fan.

I think i see a fish, but there is no subject in focus and no motion panning going on

not sure what this is, it's an interesting photo and there is motion, but I don't see the panning effect

sorry. This isn't motion panning. There is motion but motion panning involves tracking a moving subject with the result being a sharp subject and a blurred background.

I'm trying to see how this is motion panning. It gives the appearance of being more a shallow DOF and/or slow shutter speed shot.
