My Arabian Gelding Fiddy Cent running in his pasture. Adjusted curves resized and usm

Thank you everyone, I was so excited on the first day of voting on this challenge, started out with a score over a 7 but went down all week long so I was surprised to see it get fourth place, and now third. Is great to be on the front page with my sister sfmorrisbut sorry to see Gedas image get DQ'd.

Hi. Congrats for your placement.
I have a technical question about the photo, if you don't mind:
With the settings as stated, how did you compensate for the overexposure? Did you used any nd filter? 1/20 of a second at f/5.0 is a lot of light... While shooting my attempts with similar settings I was forced to use a 6x nd filter and it was still too much exposed...

I like this photo. The horse really stands out from the background, and there's nothing overly distracting in the shot. You can really see the movement here. If I were trying to improve this shot, first I would crop it asymetrically so that I could see more of the area of where the horse was running to and less behind him. The horse's face is still just a bit fuzzy around the edges. I might have bumped up the shutter speed just a tad to see if it improved the focus on his face.
