Taken at Yaquina Head around midnight. The good thing about this light is it is fixed (ie. it does not rotate). This shot is a composite of 4 stacked shots of 15 seconds a piece at ISO 1600. It has no noise reduction (other than making it small which reduces noise in itself). I'm starting to not like the look of NI on night shots which tends to leave very low frequency noise which looks ugly. The over/under on comments about it being "noisy" is at 3.

Incredible exposure! Not sure how this didn't end up at the top. Congrats on your top 10 finish.

Sweet sky, I'm lucky I get to see Orion's belt here in NY. I love the composition, great exposure.

Brillinat, love how you've managed to capture the "rays" from the light.

Good one Jason! Hopefully you'll share a little info on the shooting process...

Ok, found a waterfall that looks like it could be Achoo's--I guess I'll find out later which is which! :)

That is pretty sweet. A little heavy on the noise, but wow the stars are incredible.
