The "spotlight" was not added during processing- it was a competition in an arena with a covered roof that still allowed light in the center of it. Other competitors had more modern carriages and costumes- it was their gear and outfits which attracted me to them and also led me to use processing which emphasized the "old" look including higher contrast and more limited colors. Thanks everybody for the votes and comments!

bizarre and awesome, congrats on top 30. I love the processing but maybe would like to see a version without the heavy 'spotlight'

this feels like it is covered with an overlay. Really cool, I wish the whole thing was a bit brighter. A very nice image. 8
