I would say the profile of these appear to be a lovely glowing tansy grouping, but impossible to be sure.

Wow this is an excellent example of a very interesting result from messing around with novel technique. I've done the zoom while exposing but didn't think to defocus a bit. The sort of softness you've introduced in-camera is far better looking than anything that you could get after the fact.
The netherworld of focus you've carved out here is great. In focus and yet out. Excellent.

ETA: I also really like the colors, and especially the contrast with the black at the top of the frame.

absolutely love the effect .. so soft and dreamy ..
i read about the serendipitous sofobomo, read your blog and looked at your book .. there are some amazing images in that book .. awesome in the real sense of the word .. !! .. :)

This is an amazing effect. The glow and points of focus give this a 3D, zoneplate feel. Great choice of colors, as well. This single photo makes the effort you put into your book worthwhile.
