This little guy is no bigger than a big guy's thumbnail. Shot as directly top down as I could just as his head surfaced at the joining of the water's edge by the wet pebbly concrete. Many hours of stalking on my part, plus a shameless amount of saturation bump.

Thanks to voters and commenters, and to my homebody for helping me choose this version.

Very cool looking frog... and I love the colors in the mud (or whatever he's in). I wish his right leg was in focus... it's slightly distracting. - 6
