 Shot in the late morning (sun coming from behind me on the left) on Poipu Beach in Kauai, HI. I was using a circular polarizer to reduce a bit of glare and boost the contrast in the blues/whites. The waves were ranging from 8 to 10 ft and the surfers were absolutely ripping it.


Editing:
Topaz adjust "photo pop" on duplicate layer with opacity adjustment
Hue/Saturation adjustment to boost colors in water
Minor dodge/burn/ clone in water and on surfer to highlight spray, mitigate a bit of noise, and reduce shadows on face.
Resize, Adamus sharpening, resize for web.
