I like this shot. I bet people thought you were a little crazy taking a photo of a rainy stadium seat :) The crop and angle are just right. Colors, although not bright are rich and realistic with a great exposure. As mentioned by many others, the dof really adds to this shot. I hope I don't see too many rain delays this season!

I'm taking an Intro to Photography class, and we just went over how to adjust our depth of field using a wide aperture and a fast shutter speed... and this is a fabulous example of this technique. This also was an excellent representation of the challenge. I really like this one. (I wasn't aware of this site when this challenge took place, but I would have scored it high.) Anyway, good job. :) Thanks for helping me recognize the technique!

This image is more about the fans than a sport or team. But it is obvious that the seats are in some sort of stadium for some sort of sport, team or otherwise. I like it very much.. It is finely shot and works for me.

I really like this photo. If the entire chair 12 was in focus I think it would have been a little better, my eye keeps drigfting to the fuzzy part. Great job though!

very nice, although you probably could have reduced the aperature by a stop or two to lessen the severity of the blurring effect... then, you'd still get blurring, but the viewer would likely be able to make out the numbers on the adjoining seats, adding to the interest of the image. Water droplets are a nice detail.

Not sure what it is, but I get a strong melancholy feeling, could be the rain or the blue tones. Nice… 9

Nice shallow depth of field - crisp colors - rained out!

Excellent DOF for this image. The concept of a rain/weather delay is a universal one. The thing that makes this image more interesting than other rain delay images is the focus. It's on the seat you sit in to watch the game. The focus is on the spectator, not the game. This is one of the few sports images in this challenge that trancends most, if not all sports internationally. Find me someone who has not been stuck at a game/match when it's rained. This is one of my top 2 images this challenge. Well done. 10

The raindrops, not only on the chair but also in the air, makes this photo special. Good composition/dof/color.

Perhaps the most original perspective in the challenge. Just the right focus, lighting and crop IMO.

I like this shot, but I wonder if it would be better with a slightly wider DoF. I think I'd like just a little more detail in the next closest row. Either way, a nicely composed shot.

wonderful :-) I love how just the close chair is in focus... otherwise it would be a little too distracting

I wanted to do a shot like this, but didn't make it to the park in time... And I'm sure it wouldn't have looked this nice. The water is a great point of interest, the depth of field is perfect... Really enjoy this one.

Oh, very clever, very clever indeed. Beautifully taken, great light and composition, love the dof. I can see this getting a ribbon to match the colour of the chairs. Absolutely love it! 10

Very nice use of depth of field and the sharpness and detail is great. Composition is good too. A great take on a classic image.
