Some of you may recognize the clock from my dad's entry in "End".
I had this idea and so once again we had to strip down the clock and make a new face.
I made my own ribbon in google sketchup and then coloured them blue, red and yellow in PS before printing the new face and putting it on the clock.

After putting the clock back together I took the pic in the light tent.

The rest is just the usual PS stuff.

Great job, gave this one of my few 8's. I've just figured out why you put the hands at 5 o'clock ... local time for rollover in the UK, of course!

I knew it was your dad's clock from his photo, but it wasn't his lighting, so I was confused... Then I saw the results and it was a real "duh!" moment :D

Congrats on the top ten!!

You're only missing the Update button, maybe where the alarm hand would point ... cool idea and good execution.

very nice idea, visually not too appealing, though. underside of clock is too dark. don't see necessity for so much negative space here

Interesting shot. The technicals are perfect; the lighting is good and provides a lot of shine from the brass. This made me think though, having [Update] at each hour until there is a blue at midnight would work as well.

Was looking round the dial of the clock thinking, why are the rest of them smiling, they didn't get a ribbon, then I followed it all the way round and realised what was going on.

Nice idea, well executed, 8 from me.
