 When this challenge was announced I immediately decided I wouldn't be touching it with a barge pole ;-) but somehow I couldn't seem to get it out of my mind (beware, this is what dpc does to you ;-) sooo, after a few days, I actually bought a length of blue ribbon to see what I could come up with. This is the result and I'm now worried that the blue will get the brown...

What a week this has been scorewise. At around 20 votes I was waay low around 4.2, so I thought my prediction was becoming reality ;-) After a couple of days it picked up to more or less where it is now, so that’s great.
Thanks for the thoughtful and helpful comments, they’re much appreciated.

Nicely done, simple, elegant, clear and sharp. This comes across much better than many of the elaborate shots in the challenge. 8.
