First application of what I have learned from an excellent book on lighting glassware and similar subjects: “Lighting and Photographing Transparent and Translucent Surfaces”, Glenn Rand, Amherst Media, 2009. Two black foam boards, two narrow white foam boards, dark fabric background, strobes with honeycomb modifiers and extra gaffer tape, endless tweaking of little details. Just aching to clone out a couple of reflected dots of light, but dare not attempt that in basic editing rules. However it does in the voting, I did learn a lot in the process.

The glass being cut off so close to the top doesn't work for me.

would be better if the whole reflection was seen and less black at the top

good lighting. I think the picture would be better if the full bottom reflection was included and less empty space on the top of the image.

I think the composition here is unbalanced. I would have preferred to see the whole glass reflection

I think including the whole reflection would have given you a better shot!

I love the idea and the execution...aside from the reflection being incomplete. The top has all that empty space. Still good
