 This is an abstract shot of my Vincent Bach Stradivarius Tenor Trombone with F Attachment Model 42. My parents gave this horn to me in 1979 while in middle school. This September, thirty years later, this horn was handed down to my son James ( jrrose1) when he entered middle school. It served me well for high school, college, and professional playing for more than 20 years. Hopefully, he can enjoy similar success. In the background of the shot, you can see the outline of my current horn, a Getzen bass trobone with F/D double dependent valves.

RAW conversion using CS4 - adjustment of clarity
In CS4 - adjusted levels, curves, desaturated using hue/saturation, USM at large radius, resize, USM, Adamus Sharpening, resize for web, add sepia, add border.

Lovely use of repetitive patterns. What always impresses me when you photograph your instruments is the complete lack of glaring reflections. Amazing. Such a beautiful homage to your memories and times together, and now for your son as well.
