I like this. Perhaps its a pity the hat is dissapearing into the shadows a bit. Maybe no hat would have been better?

A brave take to the challenge. The smoke definitely implies that a fire had existed. I would have cropped this a little differently. I recommend placing the person more to the bottom left corner and include more of the smoke rising., 5
