 I saw the Window challenge and thought there were tons of great window opportunities in NYC and have kept my eye open but never came across anything interesting. I know this is kind of pushing the "window view" challenge description, but it is a view from a window so hopefully it won't get too burned for that. My best friend Tiffany came to visit and so I took the opportunity to actually plan a quick shoot. This was a lucky accident in which the shutter didn't quite time out with the flash, so the left edge of the photo was blacked out, which looked really neat. I am not sure if I like the curtain, but this was the 3rd photo in this setup and I loved it so much I only took 2 more pictures and then the shoot was over. Yay for 5 photo photoshoots! I like this because it is an interesting mixture of challenge requirements while still keeping too my personal style. I hope the fact that the window is broken on the inside not the outside won't confuse voters.

Beautiful and melodramatic. I love how you've contrasted the beautiful woman with the dingy and broken window. The lighting is great!

Quiet and mysterious. Could be sad, could be unsettling, depending on your viewpoint. Light is handled beautifully.
