 long exposure, using ND filter

movement of camera from first position to second position during exposure

first position started focused on vertical right-hand stalk, then camera was pulled back and moved downward to the left to fill frame with a diagonal stalk further forward of first position, while simultaneously rotating focus ring to a point (determined before exposure) that brought the diagonal stalk in focus, or close to focused





The spots you might detect here are in this case not dust spots but "age" spots on the leaves themselves.

What Colleen said! The pastels are lovely, and the created softness/composition combo complement (compliment?) the pastel feel as well. While the red of the Posthumous seems a bit garish, it is a nice token. Just don't place it too close to the photograph. :-)
