 Wow what a blast! First off thanks to Sarah, Lauren, Erica, and Johnny! Couldn't have done this one with out you.
Ok so now for the deets. This is my first ever submission here at dpchallenge. I have enjoyed all of your work tremendously!

This was a 10 second exposure with each of the 3 flashes used triggered manually and independent of one another.
Key was high camera right with barn doors and using a handful of branches as a gobo.
Back fill/Ghoul light was back camera left.
Front fill/Headstone fill was right up front camera left, snooted with a clear plastic bag stuffed in the snoot to knock down the light.
Imported this into Aperture and then immediately exported to CS4.
Then the fun begins in this edit fest.
Basically, a lot of time spent on a dodge and burn layer.
Used a cooling effect
Desaturated most of the color leaving the reds more intact than anything else.
The "Ghost" got her own layer and a ton of Motion Blur applied and then layer masking to bring her back to shape.
That is about all I can think of other than that I had a killer time spending the early morning hours of Halloween 2009 making this photo! Enjoy
