This was a fashion shoot for Seaglass jewelry for the 2010 catalog. There were 4 parts to the the series representing a the four seasons and the jewelry. Each of the pictures had elements of face painting, applied feathers and masks.

The photo was shot on a glass table that was covered in light tough spun. The table was light from below with a par 64 1000w light using an R80 gel. The mole was side light also using a 100w par 64 in R80 gel. An third lamp was used with R78 gel from the direction of her feet with R78 gel. Finally a 1k leko was streaked across the chest to highlight the jewelry.

Makeup consisted of painting the eyes and applying feathers. Several coats of glitter were than applied. Lipstick and false eyelashes were also used.

Oh for zorks sake, how am I going to choose one I want to win now (I score on merit then bump my fave up by one) .... three photos in a row that are just magnificent.

i feel that the lighting really detracts from the makeup in this image, and its a pity, because it seems like a lot of effort was put into it. but all the details seem to wash out in the blue. i also feel as though it could benefit from a closer crop.

Andrew Lloyd Webber'ish. Cold lighting and jewelery match the model's cold stare. Needed more DOF and crispness. Still 8.

I think that this was well thought out and well executed, my only critique would be that I don't feel that the white light was needed as it's a little distracting.

Interesting concept and costume, however the focus seems off and maybe the lighting could be improved.

The glarring light on her hand and neck is quite distracting from the face.
