I originally did not plan on entering this challenge, but after trying some experimental work with camera movement, I changed my mind. I really like how this one came out, a bit shorter exposure time to give a different feel to the vertical motion of some other shots I have done.

Post Challenge: So pleased with the response from voters and commenters on this. I am glad I was able to deliver this in a way that you could get it.

Nice effect with the camera motion. It's a very relaxing shot to look at, partly because there are no sharp details to dwell on.

A very strong abstract. Fountains of light. Love the bold dark trees. I continue to have mixed feelings about the use of "letterbox" borders, I find they often improve a photo's impact, but am leery of their overuse.

I really wish more people could appreciate out of the box/abstract images. This image has a very distinct feel to it from my perspective. Almost eerie, almost scary and at the same time ethereal, imaginative, evoking. Well done Peter!

Dark and light, blurry and sharp, an oxymoronic image. Well done.

This is one of the best of the more impressionistic approaches to the challenge.

Interesting subject. Is it wood. My eyes keep trying to focus the shot.

I like the abstract almost brush-like texture which composes this shot. The brilliant golds & oranges contrast nicely with the dark black of the trunks. Fall has a most definite sense of movement here, well done.

Love this abstract although I'm not personally keen on the frame for this shot with the tree trunks disappearing into it.

I like this a lot! Dragging the camera really works in this image (so often, I think, it doesn't). The light works like brush strokes. The abstraction keeps me looking, imagining grasses and tiny flowers one moment and the odd warmth of an autumn forest on a sunny day the next. Thank you!

Still working on the camera movement, I see. I like this, though I am curious to see if this is appreciated by the masses on the heels of the camera movement challenge.
