 Haven't submitted anything in a while and wanted to get a picture out there.

This old broken tube was scrapped from the recycle but the inner glass has some imperfections that wasn't as transparent as i had hoped in the picture. The IC's were also going to be thrown out and are brand new so I scrapped those aswell.

I really just wanted to use my super tak = )

editing in LR
crop, rotate, basics, some saturation adjustments, and sharpening

might have turned it just a little bit so you can read the writing on the bulb...that given this is a great picture

I always thought vacuum tubes looked like cutaway drawings of what was inside a fictional rocketship.

Centered composition - yes. Interesting subject matter - not bad. Distracting elements - yes, two which draw my eye.

love the shot of the valve or bottle as we used to call them lol but I find the other stuff in the shot very distracting. 6
