 A segment of a glass vase sitting on top of a CD.
This involved a trade off between sharpness and noise and is a compromise. The glass itself is full of imperfections.
Crop, duplicate layer blend mode overlay, flatten image, resize, reduce noise, curves, blur tool, tiny amount of healing tool and clone tool, border, sfw.

a muted flash would have let the colors come through looks blown out and scratchy. the idea was good but the execution was weaker.
