Ya know? I think this 6.8 score is the best part of my week this week!

My daddy's body died this week... I'm over the edge in missing him... WHAT a blast is was to be his daughter!

But, I appreciate your votes and comments. Daddy really liked this image and laughed at my title. He liked most everything I did. *sigh*

Gosh. How does this happen so quickly?

Go tell everyone you love, that you love him/her. Do it now.

Done already? No... I know you didn't.

Really. Go do it now. I'll wait...

Ok. Good. I'm trusting you that you did it.

The last words my daddy said to me were, "...love you lots, lil girl of mine..."

And he wasn't sick... (massive heart attack) He said stuff like that every day to me as we chatted a couple of times every day via one media or another.

Don't let today go by without doing what I asked. You'll be so glad you did.

I'm so blessed to have had such a loving relationship with my daddy... No regrets... just too soon.

Too soon is always too soon, though... today isn't too early to make things right.

Go on... I know you didn't do it when I waited earlier. *grin*

Go do it. You'll be so glad you did.

Post Voting: WOW! Daddy would be thrilled with this ribbon for me! Thanks BUNCHES for your sweet words to me about Daddy and about my image.

I printed the frog dissection chart off of the internet. The frog went back outside when we were finished. Not harmed at all. *smile*

I love the humor is this shot! Congrats on your ribbon.

My condolences on the loss of your Dad, Lydia. In the very least the lasting memory you will carry in your heart was his love for you and the laugh you gave him with this photo.

And I take the advice you give to heart - no one in my family leaves the house at the start of the day without me telling them I love them - tis been that way for quite some time now:-)

My condolences, i know how you feel, my Dad died aged 50 when I was 20, 16 years ago.

The last words he said to me were "See you later" - same thing, not ill, massive heart attack.

You are absolutely right when you say to tell people how you feel. You may not get another chance xx

This is priceless Lydia! I just don't understand how a boring waterdroplet could beat your score. Congrats!

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Great picture of you two!

Lydia, not very often am I at a loss for words, this is one of those rare occasions. First let me say how sorry I am to hear of your loss, and it sounds as if he was a wonderful man. Secondly, congratulations on the ribbon, it's a wonderful shot, and like your father, the title made me chuckle.

ohh Lydia, at first I was happy to seeing you on the first page again, but now I'm in tears. It's always difficult to lose somebody, and all that we have left, are the sweet memories of them, my heart goes to you and your family, and I'm glad, you got to be part of the life of such a wonderful man. Hugs.

Lydia! At first I was smiling, like always, at your adorable frog pictures, then I wanted to cry as I read about your loss of your dad. I am so sorry! I saw your picture on Facebook, but I didn't realize that your loss was so fresh! I'm so thankful that you are the kind of daughter you are (and so not surprised), and that your relationship was filled with so much love.

I've lost both of my parents, so I understand your hurt very well. I loved what you said about "his body dying". What a testament to your faith that the soul lives on, and you will be reunited again one day!

So sorry for your loss Lydia. I wish I had been able to have that kind of relationship with my father but he passed away at the age of 47. You are so lucky to have so many wonderful memories.
Congrats on your ribbon - brings back memories of biology - but, fortunately, your frog has a much happier ending! :-)

I am sorry for your loss, but glad for your relationship with your dad. That is wonderful.
I am going, today, to be with my sister as she goes through some big dangerous surgery. And be sure, I WILL tell her I love her before she goes in.
We appreciate your words, and love this pic, too! God bless.

How to dissect a frog without the knowledge or consent of the subject is an ethical dilemma. Excellent capture of the intended victim, er..scientific collaborator. Crisp, colourful and full of good humour.

Looks like you had a lot of fun with this challenge. Your model stayed so calm for you, probably due to the fact that the little guy can't read. Most frogs aren't so lucky. Anyway, I like this one a lot...9!
