I find that this image seems to be over sharpened and has the contrast tweaked slightly high.
Check out the work by esteemed architecture photog Julius Schulman and the team of Anderson and Low. Wonderful work.

Oh man! This is fabulous. I tried to take pictures inside a cathedral when I was in New York, and I got so much lens flare. Was that because I used a flash? We were just walking around for the day and didn't have tripods with us so we had to use a flash, but it did not work. It makes me appreciate perfection like this even more!

I know you don't want to hear it, but when you took the shot, you should have taken on step to the right,,, that would have made it easier to make the image exactly symmetric... sorry, i'm very picky with that...
